Analysis and Assessments Branch: Learning and Adapting at Speed

SessionMarine Zone

The Analysis and Assessments Branch (A&AB) facilitates rapid learning and adaptation across the Marine Corps by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating lessons learned to inform training and operational readiness decisions. Through rigorous, data-driven analysis and targeted assessments, A&AB quickly identifies trends, gaps, and best practices, enabling the force to adapt to emerging challenges. The branch leverages advanced analytical tools, predictive modeling, and collaborative processes like the Trend Reversal and Reinforcement Process (TRRP) and Assessment Working Group (AWG) to accelerate the resolution of systemic issues. By supporting concept and requirements development, experimentation, wargaming, and continuous feedback loops, A&AB ensures that insights are rapidly translated into actionable changes. Ultimately, A&AB empowers the Marine Corps to learn faster and adapt more effectively, strengthening training and operational readiness in a dynamic environment.
