This session will explore essential command, control, and fires components for defeating modern aerial threats. The integration of the Medium Range Intercept Capability's ground-based air defense with the command and control provided by the Multifunction Air Operations Center and Sector Air Defense Command is critical to rapidly closing kill chains and protecting the force, embodying the concept of Aviation Ground Support as a vital new function of Marine Aviation.
