Branch Head, Analysis and Assessments BranchTraining & Education Command

Mr. Christmas currently serves as the Branch Head, Analysis and Assessments Branch (A&AB), Policy and Standards Division (PSD), Training and Education Command (TECOM) at Marine Corps Base (MCB), Quantico. As such, his responsibilities include being responsible for the execution of the Marine Corps Lessons Learned Program (MCLLP), the conduit to the Joint Lessons Learned program, as well as the execution of rigorous analysis, evaluation, and assessment processes to enable informed decisions regarding the effectiveness of Training and Education efforts using data driven information. This includes the execution of the Trend Reversal and Reinforcement Process (TRRP) and the facilitation of the Assessments Working Group (AWG).


Prior to his position as a October 11, 2022, Mr. Christmas was the Program Manager for the Contract Support to both the Marine Air Command & Control System Integration Branch (MIB) and the Aviation Integration Branch (AVIB), Aviation Combat Element Division, Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD), Combat Development & Integration (CD&I) as well as a Senior Analyst supporting Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD), Medium Range Intercept Capability (MRIC), Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) and Capabilities Based Assessments (CBA). He joined the team during Option Year 1 of the MIB contract in January 2020 and became Team Lead in March 2020 followed by his March 2022 assignment as the Program Manager.


Prior to joining Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG), Mr. Christmas served as a Marine Infantry Officer for 27 years. His relevant experience includes Capabilities Integration Officer (CIO), Infantry Combat Equipment (ICE), Precision Weapons, and Marine Expeditionary Rifle Squad (MERS) and managed the Marine Enhancement Program (MEP) (a rapid acquisitions program) for the Fires and Maneuver Integration Division (FMID) at CDD, CD&I; Assistant Chief of Staff, Operations (AC/S G3) Training Command; Assistant Dean of Students / Warfighting Director, Command and Staff College (CSC); and Executive Assistant (EA) to Combatant Commander, USAFRICOM.
Mr. Christmas also served as the Strategy and Posture Division Head, J5, USAFRICOM; served on Recruiting Duty as an Operations Officer at the Station and the Region level; was a Battalion Executive Officer and Battalion Landing Team (BLT) Operations Officer; and commanded at the Platoon, Company and Battalion level.


Mr. Christmas holds a bachelors and a masters degree in political science from Randolph-Macon College and Haifa University, as well as a Masters in Military Studies from the Marine Corps University. Mr. Christmas has also attended the Amphibious Warfare School (AWS), Command and Staff College (CSC), and the Israeli National Defense College (INDC).


Mr. Christmas has the honor of being married to Nikki and they have two amazing young adults, McKenna (23) and Joshua (20).
