Director, Information Maneuver DivisionHQMCColonel Chris Passerella, Director of the Information Maneuver Division (IMD), was commissioned in 2005 following his graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy. In his current role, he leads the Information Maneuver (17xx) Occupational Field, co-leads DYNAMIS Pillar 3, and integrates these critical activities across the Fleet Marine Force. His distinguished career in intelligence and information warfare includes pivotal deployments to Iraq, as well as operations within the AFRICOM and CENTCOM areas of responsibility. His extensive experience features counter-terrorism operations at the National Security Agency and service as a liaison officer with the British Royal Marines. He previously led SIGINT, Electronic Warfare, and Cyber Plans at Headquarters Marine Corps, and held key ODNI roles focused on the China Mission. He holds advanced degrees from George Washington University and the Eisenhower School.
