Executive Deputy, Training & Education CommandUSMCAppointed to the Senior Executive Service in June 2019, Anthony Greco is the Executive Deputy of the Training & Education Command (TECOM) and the Assistant Deputy Commandant for Training & Education (T&E) in Quantico, VA. His main responsibilities include advising the Commanding General, ensuring continuity on all TECOM initiatives, providing strategic leadership, managing resources, and overseeing the command's PPBEA process.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Greco was the first Deputy Director of the Current Operations Division for the Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD), where he supervised fiscal and warfighting investments and transition activities. He also directed the MAGTF Command and Control Transition Task Force, managing the development and integration of C2 capabilities across the Marine Corps.
Mr. Greco’s active service in the Marine Corps began in 1985 as an infantry officer. Designated a Naval Aviator in 1989, he had flying tours with several helicopter squadrons. He deployed with the 24th, 26th, and 31st MEUs, participating in operations such as Provide Comfort, Desert Storm, Deny Flight, Provide Promise, Desert Fox, and Stabilize. He retired from the Aviation Department in 2005 as the Head of Plans & Programs.
Mr. Greco holds a B.A. in English from the University of Rochester and a Master of Military Studies from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, where he was a distinguished graduate. He is also a certified Program Management Professional.
