
LtCol Dustin Scott
Concept Development Team 3 Lead, Experiment DivisionMarine Corps Warfighting LaboratoryA native of St. Petersburg, FL, Lieutenant Colonel Dustin Scott commissioned as a Marine Corps Logistics Officer in May 2009.
Following his initial training, LtCol Scott was assigned to 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, deploying twice to Afghanistan between 2010 and 2012, first as an Afghanistan Training Advisor and later as a Battalion Motor Transportation Officer. He then served with 7th Marine Regiment as the Regt S4-A before reporting to MCRD Parris Island in 2013. While at Parris Island, he held roles as a Series Commander, Company Executive Officer, and was selected to be the Aide-de-Camp for the Commanding General, Eastern Recruiting Region, MCRD Parris Island.
After attending the resident Logistics Captain's Career Course in 2016, LtCol Scott was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 6. There, he commanded multiple companies and deployed as a detachment commander with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Crisis Response Africa from 2017 to 2018.
In 2019, LtCol Scott reported to Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC), serving as a Regional Logistics Officer and later as the Marine Raider Regiment S4. During this tour, he also completed his MBA. In 2022, he was assigned as the Operations Officer for Combat Logistics Regiment 17, later serving as the Future Operations Officer for 1st Marine Logistics Group.
Currently, LtCol Scott serves with Concept Development Team-3, Experiment Division at the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory in Quantico, VA.
LtCol Scott is married to his wife, Ashley, and they are proud parents of their daughter, Hinley, and son, Hunter.
