Branch Head, Warrior Athlete Readiness & ResilienceM&RA, HQMC

Mr. Brad Brimhall has worked in the athletics and human performance industry for 38 years with the federal, state, local, and private organizations/industry. He serves as the Branch Head for Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience-Semper Fit (WARR-SF) at Headquarters Marine Corps. He is responsible for the transformational leadership and progressive development of the health, wellness, prevention, and performance programs across the enterprise. Brad has earned the Certified Strength and Conditioning Coaching and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator Certifications from the NSCA, the USAW Level II Coaches Certification, LERN Certified Program Planners Certification, the TRX Level 3, and HKC certifications. Brad was a three sport athlete in high school and played college baseball at Ricks College where he was a team captain and earned All-Region 18 honors as a pitcher. He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics and played professionally in the minor leagues for the Athletics, Pirates, and Orioles. Mr. Brimhall earned his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and Health Education from Utah State University and was selected as the Student Teacher of the Year in Physical Education. He has coached football, basketball, and baseball at the high school level. . In addition, Brad worked with 1st Brigade and the US Army ROTC to develop and expand their fitness programming and training facilities as he consulted for and designed the “Bold Leader Fitness Factory” at Ft. Knox. While at NMMI, he also designed and implemented the physical fitness training for the Roswell SWAT Team and provided testing and education for the International Law Enforcement Agency (ILEA). At the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms, Brad oversaw the design and development of Wilburn Gym (the first WARR Center) and the Del Valle Outdoor Fitness Area. Brad also developed the Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience (WARR) program, and greatly expanded program capability for Marines, Sailors, and their families. In April 2021, Mr. Brimhall began his service as the Branch Head for WARR-SF at HQMC.
