Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM) will host an Artificial Intelligence Forum in conjunction with Modern Day Marine 2026. The Forum is designed to bring together leaders and innovators from across the Department of War, industry, and academia. As these communities interact, the intent is to facilitate an exchange of advanced analytic concepts and idea with military application as the primary focal point for these latest tools, use cases, and software.

Key functional areas include logistics and supply chain management, predictive maintenance, inventory optimization, and the integration of AI with autonomous systems. The Forum will also include a collaborative hackathon, providing participants with an opportunity to develop and evaluate innovative concepts throughout the event. By bringing together experts from across the AI ecosystem, MARCORLOGCOM’s AI Forum aims to accelerate the Marine Corps’ use of responsible, effective, and mission-aligned artificial intelligence. Attendees will leave with new connections, new insights, and a better understanding of how AI can strengthen logistics readiness and support the Marines who rely on it.

The Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM) AI Forum will also include a hands-on “hackathon” opportunity for participants take part in. This collaborative event brings together Marines, industry innovators, and academic partners to tackle real logistics challenges through rapid prototyping and creative problem-solving. Those who choose to participate will apply their unique experiences and capabilities to develop advanced analytical models on a “real-world” logistics problem set. Potential focus areas include, but are not limited to, improving supply chains, enhancing predictive maintenance, or strengthening sustainment in contested environments. Teams will have access to curated data sets, defined problem statements, robust computational resources, and on-site mentorship from MARCORLOGCOM, academia, and industry experts to help turn ideas into functional models over the course of the Forum. Performance of these models will be presented at the end of the event to showcase attendees’ efforts and successes.
