Expo Location

The 2025 Modern Day Marine Expo will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center located at 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 20001.

Complimentary Buses – Quantico

Complimentary round trip buses from the Quantico area to the Walter E. Washington Convention will be available to all attendees and exhibitors on a first come first served basis.

The pickup locations are Little Hall – 2034 Barnett Ave, Quantico, VA 22134 and the National Museum of the Marine Corps – 1775 Semper Fidelis Wy, Triangle, VA 22172. Buses will  run continuously every 30 minutes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The first pick up time for Little Hall will be 6:45 AM and the first pick up time for the National Museum of the Marine Corps will be 7:00 AM. The last pick up time for Little Hall will be 11:15 AM and the last pick up time for the National Museum of the Marine Corps will be 11:30 AM.

Buses will start the return trip back to base at 2:30 PM leaving every 30 minutes stopping at Little Hall and the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The last bus will depart the Convention Center at 5:00 PM daily.

The complimentary bus schedule is subject to change.

Washington Metro

The Metrorail system serves 91 stations throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. If traveling to the Convention Center by metro, take the Orange, Red or Yellow lines to the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station or ride the Green and Yellow lines to the station at  Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street Convention Center.

Train

To travel to the Convention Center by train, take the Amtrak to Union Station. The Convention Center is less than ten minutes from the station by car and less than twenty minutes on foot.

Parking

Over 3,000 parking spaces are located within a three-block radius of the Convention Center including surface lots and garages. Exhibitors and attendees are encouraged to use these public parking facilities. Parking regulations are heavily enforced in the Convention Center’s surrounding residential areas. Twelve metered public parking spaces, designated for vehicles displaying disability permits or tags, are located on 9th Street.

• Three spaces on the east side of 9th Street, between Mt. Vernon Place & L Street
• Three spaces on the east side of 9th Street, between L & M Street
• Three spaces on the east side of 9th Street, between M & N Street
• Three metered, public parking spaces on 7th Street, between Mt. Vernon Place and L Street.

Parking signs are posted, indicating a two-hour parking limit, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.
