Modern Day Marine (MDM) is open to Department of Defense active duty and reserve service members and their families, members of the Marine Corps League and/or Marine Corps Association (the MDM Co-Host organizations), Defense Industry affiliated personnel, law enforcement, industry/consultant representatives, and invited international guests. Attendees must have an “identifiable relationship with the United States Marine Corps.”
Modern Day Marine is the largest military equipment, systems, services and technology exposition open exclusively to Marines, DoD, association partners, and authorized industry representatives. The show floor hosts more than 350 exhibitors displaying the latest warfighting innovations and technology, presentations from influential Marines and DoD personnel, the OBJ1 Wargaming Convention, and more.
WHAT’S ON THE SHOW FLOOR AT MODERN DAY MARINE?

The Modern Day Marine show floor will be in Halls A & B of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The red boxes on the map above represent activations areas on the show floor and the green boxes are the locations where exhibitors will showcase their products and services.

MAIN BRIEFING CENTER
Hosting executive-level briefings on critical topics impacting the Marine Corps, allies, partners, and the entire Department of Defense, the Main Briefing Center is where influential leaders share insights on current policies, strategic developments, and emerging challenges facing the Marine Corps.

WARFIGHTING PAVILION
The Warfighting Pavilion focuses on combat development, experimentation, and capabilities integration. It explores the strategies, tools, and innovations that shape modern Marine Corps combat capabilities, with an emphasis on how experimentation drives tactical and operational advancements. This area provides valuable insights into the ongoing development of new concepts and technologies that enhance mission success and prepare the Marine Corps for future challenges.

MARINE ZONE
Focusing on training, education, manpower, talent management, and community services, the Marine Zone highlights resources and opportunities available to Marines. It is designed to support career development, professional growth, and overall Marine welfare, making it a hub for those interested in enhancing their Marine Corps journey.

DRONE ZONE
This exhibit showcases the latest unmanned technologies from the Department of Defense and defense industry partners. The Drone Zone highlights advancements in unmanned aerial systems and robotics, giving attendees a firsthand view of how these technologies are reshaping battlefield tactics.

ACQUISITIONS PAVILION
This area provides essential briefings from program managers at Marine Corps Systems Command, PEO Land, NAVAIR, and others involved in the Marine Corps’ acquisition projects. It offers attendees an inside look into the latest acquisition priorities and projects, showcasing what’s coming next in equipment and technology to support Marine operations.

OBJ 1 WARGAMING
OBJ1 is a dedicated space for military wargaming enthusiasts, offering opportunities to engage in both computer-based and tabletop games. This convention brings together military wargaming experts, designers, and industry professionals to explore new scenarios, tactics, and strategies for Marine Corps operations.

Heritage Pavilion
Celebrating the Marine Corps’ 250th anniversary, the Heritage Pavilion honors the Corps’ legacy of innovation and adaptation. This space highlights the rich tradition of the Marine Corps while emphasizing its ongoing evolution to address current and future threats, blending history with forward-looking initiatives.
